This role owns the value stream that ensures we have the correct capacity, availability, lifecycle, and licensing capabilities across private cloud, public cloud, and data centre environments.
Operating in alignment with ITIL practices & Agile delivery, the PO ensures that value flows continuously from demand forecasting to infrastructure readiness, with the goal of enabling teams to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable digital services.
Which tasks can you expect?

Owns the end-to-end value stream for Plan → Engage → Design → Obtain/Build → Deliver → Improve across Capacity, Availability, and Asset Management.
2. Drives continual improvement loops based on availability incidents, lifecycle risks, or capacity saturation signals.
3. Product Ownership & Backlog Management
Owns and manages a roadmap that integrates operational risks, platform growth, partner capacity, and product demand.

Ensures capacity decisions support cost efficiency and avoid waste.
3. Availability Management (ITIL)
Work with DevOps, Network Teams, and Platform Squads to determine and agree SLAs, SLOs, and availability targets.
Identify availability risks and ensure mitigation work is prioritised in the backlog.
Ensure service continuity expectations are built into product delivery planning.
4. Asset Lifecycle & CMDB Governance

Ensure compliance with licensing terms and prevent overconsumption penalties.
Identify unused or underutilised licences and eliminate waste.
