About the role:
We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team and be our chapter lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences. You will work closely with our product and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Visual Design: Develop visually appealing and cohesive design elements, including icons, buttons, and layouts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- User-Centered Design: Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.
- Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results. Design Systems: Maintain and contribute to the development of design systems and style guides.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
