About the role

The Network Tech Lead is the technical authority for network management within the engineering squads. This role is responsible for the architecture, performance, security, and scalability of network systems across multiple squads.

You will act as network technical authority, providing mentorship, defining best practices, and ensuring high availability, disaster recovery and performance optimization across network environments.

This position requires a balance of hands-on expertise in network administration, leadership and strategic thinking to drive technical excellence while aligning network solutions with business objectives.

A day in your role

As a Network Tech Lead, your day revolves around ensuring the private cloud network is secure, scalable, and performing optimally. You monitor systems, resolve incidents, and guide architecture decisions for mission-critical environments. Your expertise helps maintain high availability and compliance across the infrastructure.

You collaborate with squads across DevOps, Middleware, and Server teams to drive automation and modernization. Whether it's supporting the implementation of Infrastructure as Code initiatives or refining disaster recovery strategies, your input shapes the network’s future-readiness and resilience.

Mentoring engineers and collaborating with architects and product owners is also part of your routine. You foster technical excellence, ensure documentation is current, and lead governance efforts to uphold security standards and best practices.

What do you bring?

• Minimum 8 years of extensive experience as a Network Tech Lead, Principal Network Engineer or Network Operations Lead.
  
• Deep understanding of routing, switching and the following networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs.
  
• Deep knowledge of the following firewall technologies: Cisco ASA, Fortigate and Palo Alto.
  
• Actively contributes to the design and implementation of automation initiatives within the organization’s network.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps and Automation squads to align frameworks, tools and standards to corporate strategy.
  
• Mentor and coach Network Engineers on best practices, emerging trends and optimization techniques.
