About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Automation optimisation specialist. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automation solutions developed by the team. You will be responsible for supporting deployed robots/applications, troubleshooting incidents, implementing permanent fixes, conducting thorough testing, and enhancing existing automation projects to meet evolving business needs.
The technologies used are mainly: Power Platform, BluePrism and Outsystems
Which tasks can you expect?
Support & Troubleshooting
- Monitor and maintain automation robots/applications in production.
- Track and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement permanent fixes and preventive measures.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform functional and regression testing on automation solutions.
- Validate automation workflows before deployment to production.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyse performance and usage of existing robots/applications.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and enhancement.
- Implement updates, bug fixes, and new functionalities.
- Enhance existing automation projects to meet evolving business needs by:
- Gathering requirements directly from customers.
- Implementing changes based on feedback and business goals.
- Demonstrating updated solutions to customers for validation and acceptance.
Stakeholder Communication & Issue Management
- Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders regarding incidents and resolutions.
- Track and document the resolution of issues from identification to closure.
- Provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports after incident resolution.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Document support procedures, test cases, and change logs.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve automation standards.
What do you have to offer?
Qualifications:
- Graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 year of hands-on experience on an RPA/ low-code automation platform, with high preference on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Blueprism and/or Outsystems
- Microsoft Certified: PL-900, Azure Fundamentals is a plus
Knowledge, Technical skills and Experience:
- Good knowledge of data modelling and database concepts.
- Proficient in Power Platform/Blueprism/Outsystems depending on the business needs. Can handle moderate complexity projects with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies.
- Understands and applies best practices in coding and debugging
- Experience with other Microsoft 365 tools and services.
- Good understanding and experience with APIs and integration concepts.
- Ability to write and understand basic code (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python).
- Worked in an agile environment
