About the role:
As a Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining our existing payroll application for the Belgian market, SME Payroll. Your customers are the nearly 40,000 users of this application, and you play an essential role in improving their experience. Together with your colleagues, you improve the customer experience every day by monitoring new legislation and market trends, and simplifying their daily processes.

Which tasks can you expect?
- Willing to work on legacy applications.
- Get to know the software you're responsible for.
- Cooperate closely with product owner and your fellow squad members to understand requirements.
- Contribute during all phases of product lifecycle, from ideation and development to maintenance.Capable of devising solutions that are both functionally effective and technically robust
- End-2-end responsibility for assigned software functionalities.
- Willing to give 3rd-Level-support, troubleshooting and error correction.
- Executing code reviews.
- Guiding and teaching more junior developers.
- Sharing knowledge about best practices.
- Good understanding of relevant areas and products regarding the software you’re responsible for.
- Collaborate with support departments of servers, network, etc.
You’ll be part of an agile squad, consisting of 9 Developers. Our diverse team includes Developers, Functional Analysts, a QA, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner, all working together to drive excellence.

We expect proven experience with:
- At least 8 years of experience in .Net development in complex software environments
- HTML, CSS
- SQL
- Javascript
- Sourcecontrol (TFS, GIT, Sourcesafe, Subversion, etc.)
- Design Patterns (ORM, Dependency injection, …)
- UML
- You hold a degree in IT or have proven skills worthy of the degree
- You're able to communicate and read English fluently
- You are open to learn new skills
- Angular
