This team is dedicated to developing and maintaining tools that streamline our customers' business processes in the payroll and reward sector. These tools decentralize and digitalize core payroll tasks such as indexing salaries, determining scales salaries or calculate holiday rights and pay. Behind the scenes, you'll work with diverse systems, databases, and innovative SD Worx payroll software.

Your job as a Functional analyst 

• Initially, you'll focus on gaining in-depth knowledge of the application and translating this into solid user stories and test plans. 
• You'll become well-versed in the payroll and reward domain and the surrounding application landscape. With this expertise, you'll guide developers in shaping new features. 
• As your knowledge grows, so will your responsibilities in product development, making you a key partner for the product owner. 
• Next to analysing business requirements, your tasks will also include second/third line support, testing, and writing user documentation.
• You will actively participate in team ceremonies within the scrum framework, demonstrating flexibility, autonomy, and strong collaboration with your team. 
• As a member of a self-organizing squad, you'll soon take ownership of additional duties and tasks aligned with your interests, skills, and ambitions. 

Your profile and skills 

• You have a proven track record in analysing software requirements or similar, eg. software implementation. 
• You'll get bonus points if you have experience with Belgian payroll 
• In addition of your functional talents, you have an affinity for technical concepts (json, XML, API) and data structures (SQL) or a willingness to learn more about it. 
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English
• You're consistenly demonstrating a “Can Do!” attitude, meaning your ability to self-educate due to superior analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• You’re capable of operating autonomously, demonstrating a systematic and proactive methodology.

Triggered? Join our vibrant hybrid team! We collaborate seamlessly across locations in Belgium (Antwerp) and Poland (Katowice). English is our “lingua franca”. As a team member, you’ll often find yourself immersed in English during remote meetings, user stories and documents. You have the flexibility to work from home, alternating with working from our office in Antwerp at least once a week and occasionally spend several days in the office.
