Your Role:
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our team. Your primary area of focus will be our HR portal however you will have numerous opportunities to collaborate and work on other digital products that interact with the portal. We’re looking for someone who excels in both UI and UX design, combining creativity and user-centered thinking to deliver exceptional user experiences. You should be ambitious, detail-oriented, and skilled in clearly communicating design decisions grounded in research, testing, and functional thinking. As part of a dynamic, disruptive environment, the ideal designer should be visionary—able to think at a high level while grounding ideas in minimum viable product (MVP) concepts to drive meaningful results.

Key responsibilities:

• User Research Analysis: You analyse user data and research findings to gain a deep understanding of user behaviors, needs, and pain points. This helps you shape design solutions that meet user requirements and preferences.
• Prototyping and Interaction Design: You focus on designing user interactions with digital products and services. You determine how users will navigate through the interface, interact with elements, and accomplish their goals. You create interaction flows, design user interfaces, and define the behavior of interactive elements to provide an intuitive and satisfying user experience. You develop wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts to visualise and communicate their design solutions. You consider factors such as information architecture, interaction design, and visual design to ensure a seamless and effective user experience.
• Usability Testing and Iteration: You conduct usability testing sessions (together with the UX researcher) to evaluate the effectiveness of their design solutions. You observe user interactions, collect feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Based on the insights gathered, you iterate and refine your designs, continuously improving the user experience and addressing usability issues.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: You collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and other UX designers. You work in cross-functional teams to align design solutions with business goals and technical feasibility. You communicate design concepts and rationale, gather feedback, and ensure that the user experience vision is effectively implemented. You are confident in facilitating workshops when necessary to gather insights and drive collaboration.
• Visual Design: You incorporate visual design principles to create visually appealing and cohesive user interfaces. You consider aspects such as color schemes, typography, iconography, and layout to create visually engaging and aesthetically pleasing designs.

What we expect from you:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio of design projects.
• Experience in creating high fidelity wireframes.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Figma + experience in working with existing design systems & components.
• Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
• Good understanding of relevant areas/products/user stories.
• Strong visualisation skills.
