Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Customer Care team for Luxembourg, your duties and responsibilities will be :
- Design, develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces and applications for Luxembourg clients
- Actively participate in design workshops with clients
- Maintain and update the product more specifically payroll configurations and interfaces for Luxembourg clients to ensure compliance with legislation
- Provide level 3 support for all Luxembourg applications and assist Customer Care consultants in the resolution of incidents within agreed SLAs
- Assist in the migration of existing legacy applications
- Work efficiently on development tasks in accordance with the client needs and SD Worx methodology and standards
- Perform code reviews independently, assist in developing revisions and log defects/deficiencies
- Ensure code satisfies design specifications and complies with product standards including security and data protection standards
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code
- Maintaining code quality across projects
- Fix all detected errors in accordance with agreed schedule
- Resolve design problems and ensure documentation completeness
- Assist in preparation, production and deployment of releases
- The refactoring of existing code in compliance with new standards
- Writing of technical documentation
- Act as a technical expert for Luxembourg and work in collaboration with different teams to ensure smooth infrastructure upgrades and maintenance activities
Other tasks can be assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or IT related field
- At least 5 years’ experience of working as a Full Stack or Back End Developer
- Technologies: C#, VBA, .Net Core 3.0, .Net Framework, SQL, Angular
- Comfortable working with legacy technologies to migrate them to newer technology stacks
- Strong analytical, design and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with ETLs and developing interfaces
- Experience in Unit Testing and Integration Testing
- Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure, and AWS
- Understanding of tracking and versioning systems (TFS, Git, Azure DevOps, ...)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English
- Experience in developing HR and Payroll systems would be a plus
