What do you have to offer?

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience as a
functional analyst (5 +years of experience).
• Analyse technical and functional problems and propose functional corrections/adaptions.
• Workday knowledge (HCM, business processes, configuration of PECI) would be a plus.
• Functional knowledge in payroll/HR technology and/or payroll/HR integrations and processes would be a plus.
• Agile thinking and working methods are a matter of course.
Soft Skills
• Excellent researcher and analyst, with sharp problem-solving skills.
• A pro-active, independent worker, but mainly a team player.
• Cool and calm in a high-demanding environment in transition.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Second European language is a plus (FR, DE, NL, ES, ...)
• You have strong communication skills and succeed in building good relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You are proactive, adaptive and think in terms of solutions instead of problems.
• Pragmatic focus on outcome and goal achievement.
• Commitment to achieve sprint and squad goals.
Which tasks can you expect?

• Analyse business needs from internal and external stakeholders (clients, implementation & presales consultants)
• Translate the business needs into clear functional requirements, guard priorities
(planning/roadmap)
• Discuss the functional aspects of the required product with the relevant stakeholders, define the functional requirements & acceptance criteria in alignment with the Product Owner/Product Expert
• Focus on high quality functional analysis, aligned with the global standard approach for integration, keeping in mind the customer’s needs
• Align functional requirements to meet technical design in close collaboration with the developers and testers within the squad
• Creating functional & non-functional user stories to establish a clear and commonly shared understanding of the required behaviour
• Attend the daily stand-up meetings to guard the functional design & remove
obstacles for stakeholders
• Provide functional support for the squad with regards to tickets, client huddles
• Align with other product teams on functional requirements that transcend the Workday squad design/development
• Create functional documentation to support technical development and internal
questions from inside/outside the squad
• Communicate functional changes throughout functional knowledge transfer sessions for the squad or Show&Tell sessions for other colleagues/teams
• Assist during internal demos and testing of the functionalities delivered by the team
• Do intakes on reported bugs or minor change requests
