CUSTOMER COACH

YOUR ROLE: The purpose of this role is, to ensure that the digital products we build is delivered with the highest quality possible to our clients. It is also to be actively involved in developing frameworks and processes, as well as providing support to the squad and tribe members via training, reviewing and coaching activities where required.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Working primarily within your assigned Squad(s) but also supporting the wider Tribe in leading the QA Capability.
2. Be able to work out our team test strategy including test data management, test automation and conduct quality audit.
3. Creating & maintaining QA processes.
4. Creating test plans, document, evaluate and track testing results.
5. Writing, executing, and monitoring of automated test suites.
6. Performing manual user acceptance testing on digital products to ensure product meets requirements and functions.
7. Test product in prescribed browsers, operating systems, and devices.
8. Ensure product meets design specifications.
9. Check the usability view of the product and ensure the best way to solve QA arising problem on the projects.
10. Good communication skills (verbal & written) to achieve excellent customer service.
11. Being a team player and flexible.
12. Take ownership and do close follow up on project/s assigned, ensuring targets are met.

KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Significant experience in creating, leading and delivering Automated testing.
3. Understanding of tracking and versioning systems (TFS, Git, Azure DevOps).
4. Working knowledge of test automation principles and experience with Testing software such as MTM, Browser Stack, Selenium, Ranorex, Postman, Azure DevOps.
5. Experience working within an Agile environment including roles, processes, and ways of working e.g., user story writing.
6. Ability to facilitate and promote working in an Agile environment and building the maturity of the Squad.
7. Ability to perform to agreed time scales and to department and development standards following an Agile/Scrum methodology.
8. Confident and effective handling of internal customer relationships at whatever levels evidenced by the achievement of successful collaboration over the achievement of objectives.
9. A passion for delivering innovative software development solutions.
10. Ability to plan and manage own work items, identify risks, and escalate appropriately. Can work autonomously and be able to support outside working hours if required.
11. Awareness of test automation principles.
Desirable
1. Knowledge about HR / Payroll systems would be an advantage.
2. ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Test or similar relevant accreditation & working towards SEB/ISTQB Advance Certification.
3. Ability to self-upskill including on new technologies and specialist skills e.g., quality analysis or programming languages as required to support the needs of SD Worx.
4. Any background in basic programming experience in C#, SQL would be an advantage.
5. Experience of continuous integration, app build and delivery systems.
6. At least 3 years’ experience in software testing.
7. At least 5 years' experience in Manual Testing "optional".
