About the role:
As the Payroll Senior Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the payroll operations for our newly
created SAP MPS (Managed Payroll Services) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service
organization. This role includes payroll delivery assurance with high quality operational support across
various areas, but not limited to, continuous payroll through payroll control centre, garnishments, payroll
policies and payroll controls, compliance controls payment releases and reporting to the local
authorities. You will be responsible for orchestrating payroll service delivery for customers within the team
and ensuring seamless execution of tasks of the payroll workbook.
This role also involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous
operational excellence. You will support in maintaining local HR business process standards. You will
support continuous improvement while collaborating with clients and country teams to assess and
manage localization activities, process deviations, recommending optimal solutions that align with both
organizational and client needs.

Which tasks can you expect?
• Drive continuous process improvement by identifying optimization opportunities in country-specific
processes.
• Support in handling process deviations, determining their impact, and providing recommendations to
local and global design authorities.
• Own the change order process liaising with external stakeholders ensuring gathering of requirements,
pricing, implementation, updated documentation and training to internal teams.
• Ensure that global and local process standards are clearly understood, implemented, and adhered to
by country teams, while accommodating client-specific requirements as necessary.
• Manage the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Detailed Work Instructions
(DWIs), guidelines, and other process documentation, ensuring consistency across regions while
incorporating local deviations.
• Support with developing training materials and provide training to junior and medior team members
ensuring they are understand global and local standards, operating models, and process
documentation.
• Maintain close communication with key stakeholders (including country teams and clients) to ensure
consistent application of global and local standards, procedures and process changes.
• Support the creation or modification of processes, ensuring they meet global standards while
accommodating local conditions.
• Process complex payroll cases and provide appropriate resolutions and acting as a first escalation
point for the operating teams.
• Produce timely and accurate payroll in accordance with SD Worx processes, standards and
contractual Service Level Agreements.
• Participate in advanced testing and validation as required for system updates and configuration
changes (e.g. new wage types).
• Assist with system implementations, including testing phases, parallel processing, and UAT, following
SD Worx best practices.
• Communicate daily with client-designated contacts to ensure effective payroll processing.
• Provide support, guidance, and training to Payroll Administrators, ensuring best practices and
compliance with payroll regulations.
• Communicate with external parties, such as tax authorities and benefit providers, when necessary.
• Process Year End activities and generate year end statutory reports.
What do you have to offer?
• 3-5 years of experience in Payroll outsourcing within an enterprise business outsourcing environment.
• Knowledge of payroll processes such as, but not limited to, continuous payroll through payroll control
centre, garnishments, payroll policies and payroll controls, compliance controls payment releases
and reporting to the local authorities.
• Practical experience with Employee Central Payroll and payroll control centre is essential.
• Experience in managing client relationships and delivering payroll services to multinational clients.
• Knowledge with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPI measurement and reporting.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and collaborate across
teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet client needs efficiently.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks for the team effectively, and ensure
high levels of client satisfaction.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on driving improvements in HR
processes.
• High attention to details and strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written), fluent in English and local language.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a Payroll and BPO outsourcing environment is preferred.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Concur, Workforce Management and integration
tooling is a plus.
• Experience with inbound and outbound interfaces from and to payroll is a plus.
• Certification such as CPP, CPS or CPM is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
