About the role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and overall quality of a well-established and widely used solution with a strong market position, which has recently been merged with a parallel platform serving a complementary target audience.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in software testing and test automation, a deep understanding of software development principles, and strong problem-solving skills. You will work closely with developers, functional analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.
Which tasks can you expect?
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into test cases
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Proactively discuss with the team to achieve better solutions
Collaborate with the team according to the agreed priorities with the product owner
End-to-end responsibility for assigned software functionalities
Good understanding of the application, domain, and user stories
What do you have to offer?
Strong communication and collaboration skills (verbal and written)
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role in software development
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Ranorex, Playwright)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Payroll processes and systems is a plus
Familiarity with SQL and databases (particularly IBM DB2) is a plus
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., C#, Java) is a plus
Knowledge of BDD practices such as Reqnroll is a plus
Familiarity with performance and security testing is a plus
