SD Worx is expanding its SAP Managed Payroll Services (MPS) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) organization, and we are now building a new Nordic team with several key roles. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play an important role in delivering high‑quality payroll services to our customers. You will work hands‑on with operational payroll, support compliance activities, and help ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, while contributing to both global and local payroll standards.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders, clients, and global SD Worx teams, building your expertise and supporting continuous improvements across payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support high‑quality payroll delivery, including continuous payroll (PCC), compliance controls, garnishments, payroll policies, payment processes, and statutory reporting
Execute payroll processes for assigned customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support colleagues within the team and contribute to knowledge sharing and problem‑solving
Assist in HR and payroll transformation initiatives, focusing on process optimization and system improvements
Contribute to the implementation and alignment of global and local payroll standards
Participate in discussions around local/legal requirements and ensure alignment with processes
Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and documentation
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll execution
Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry practices, and payroll technologies
Support resolution of payroll issues and contribute to case handling
Assist in year‑end payroll activities and statutory reporting
Participate in testing and validation for system updates and changes
Qualifications & Experience
2–5 years of experience in payroll, preferably within outsourcing or a multinational environment
Knowledge of Danish payroll processes, including compliance and statutory reporting
Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll and Payroll Control Center is an advantage
Experience working with international clients or environments is beneficial
Understanding of service delivery frameworks (SLAs, KPIs)
Good communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage tasks and deadlines in a structured way
Fluent in English and Danish (both written and spoken)
Preferred Skills
Experience in payroll and/or BPO environments
Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Concur, Workforce Management systems, or integrations
Understanding of payroll interfaces and data flows
Exposure to continuous improvement practices
