About the role:

We are looking for a SAP Global Solution Architect – Tribe Lead to own and drive the end to end solution architecture of our SAP HR business across international implementations and services.

This role acts as design authority, thought leader, and capability lead for SD Worx’s global SAP Solution Architect community, ensuring scalable, high quality, and future proof solutions for enterprise customers.

Which tasks can you expect?

• Global Solution Architecture

• • Act as design authority for SAP HXM solutions across multi country projects.

• • Define and govern end to end architectures covering Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Time, Workforce Management, integrations, and reporting.

• • Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and compliance across markets.

• • Review and approve complex solution designs, estimates, and Statements of Work.

• Tribe Leadership & Governance

• • Lead the Global SAP Solution Architect Tribe, including onboarding, coaching, and capability development.

• • Define standards, reference architectures, templates, and reusable solution patterns.

• • Act as Chief Architect - holds formal architectural governance authority

• • Act as escalation point for architectural risks and complex solution challenges.

• • Contribute to skills strategy, career paths, and quality assurance within the tribe.

• • Enhance the collaboration between Architects and build a mature community

• Pre Sales & Customer Advisory

• • Support international presales as senior solution architect for complex opportunities.

• • Shape solution concepts, high level architectures, and effort estimations.

• • Act as trusted advisor for customers on HR transformation, cloud strategy, and SAP roadmap topics.

• • Lead executive workshops and inspiration sessions on trends and innovation.

• Innovation & Future Readiness

• • Drive innovation topics within SAP Solutions, including AI enabled HR, automation, and accelerators.

• • Collaborate with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to translate innovation into delivery ready solutions.

• • Anticipate and oversee SAP roadmap developments and embed them into SD Worx’s architectural strategy.

• • Ability to assess customer innovation readiness
  

What do you have to offer?

• Extensive experience 8+ years in SAP HXM architecture within international environments.

• Proven capability to define and govern enterprise-scale SAP HXM target architectures across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP BTP, and SAP S/4HANA HR including explicit decisions on SAP standard vs. supported extensions vs. custom development)

• Strong background in solution architecture, design authority, or lead architect roles 5+ years

• Data, integration, and payroll architecture experience and ability to challenge sales-driven solutioning when architectural risk exceeds acceptable thresholds)

• Ability to operate confidently at executive and strategic level with customers and senior stakeholders.

• Ability to translate architectural complexity into commercial impact, including delivery effort, long-term support cost, and scalability risk.

• Proven leadership in communities of practice or expert teams.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI, automation, SAP BTP or accelerators in HR solutions.

• Combination of delivery and presales experience.

• Exposure to multi country governance models.
