About the role:

As part of our ongoing international growth, we are strengthening our SAP Global AMS organization and are looking for an experienced SAP Authorization Senior Consultant. This role is primarily focused on providing authorization and user management support to German customers, with occasional involvement in international accounts and selected global team activities. You will act as a key contact for SAP user, role, and authorization topics, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and high service quality. In addition, you may participate selectively in global activities such as transport deployment, global maintenance tasks, and SAP AddOns enablement, depending on demand and expertise

Which tasks can you expect?

SAP User & Authorization Management

• Manage SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations for German customers, ensuring compliance with internal security policies and customer-specific requirements.

• Design, maintain, and optimize SAP roles and authorization concepts

• Resolve authorization-related incidents and service requests efficiently and professionally.

• Provide expert guidance on authorization of best practices to customers and internal stakeholders

• Ensure proper documentation of authorization changes and processes.

• 2) Audit Support & Compliance

• Actively participate in internal and customer audits (e.g. access reviews, segregation of duties, compliance checks).

• Prepare and validate audit evidence related to user and role management.

• Support customers in addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.

• 3) Global Activities

• Support SAP transport and deployment activities, following established deployment and release management processes.

• Participate in global tasks like global objects maintenance or system maintenance support (like HRSP) and cross-country SAP activities, where required.

• Contribute to the enablement and support of SD Worx SAP AddOns.

• Collaborate with international colleagues to ensure alignment with global standards and procedures.

What do you have to offer?

• Fluent German and English (spoken and written), with the ability to support German-speaking customers confidently.

• More than 4 years of experience as a SAP Authorization Consultant, with a strong focus on: User management, Role and authorization design and Access governance

• Solid understanding of audit and compliance requirements related to SAP authorizations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · High sense of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Professional and confident communication style when working with customers.

• Willingness to collaborate in an international and global team environment.

• Flexibility to occasionally support topics beyond pure authorization scope.
