About the role:
As a developer, you will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining our existing payroll application for the Belgian market: LOS21. Your customers are the hundreds of internal users of this application, and you play an essential role in improving their experience. Together with your colleagues, you improve the customer experience every day by following up on new legislation, and simplifying their processes. After all, LOS21 wants to be an efficient and effective help in internal payroll processing.

Which tasks can you expect?
Willing to work on legacy applications.
Cooperate closely with the team to understand requirements.
Contribute during all phases of product lifecycle, from ideation and development to maintenance.
Capable of devising solutions that are both functionally effective and technically robust.
Troubleshooting, debugging, fixing and implementing.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
Willing to give third line support to end users.
Able to work independently and proactively find solutions.
Can handle periods of intensive workload smoothly.
Collaborate with support departments of servers, network, ...
You’ll be part of an agile squad, comprising 16 engineers. Our diverse team includes developers, functional analysts, testers, a scrum master, and a product owner, all working together to drive excellence.
What do you have to offer?
We expect proven experience with:
- Knowledge of Winforms
- At least 5 years of experience in .Net development in complex software environments
- Knowledge of .NET Framework
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Experience with both front-end and back-end development
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experience with using AI
- You hold a degree in IT or have proven skills worthy of the degree
- You're able to communicate and read English fluently
And you'll get bonus points if you have experience with:
- Knowledge of DB2.
- Experience with NServiceBus
- Experience with Entity Framework
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience with ASMX web services
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is a plus.
