SD Worx is expanding its SAP Managed Payroll Services (MPS) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) capabilities, and we are building a brand‑new team across the Nordics and Baltics. Overview
As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you will be a key contributor to delivering HR BPO services within our newly created SAP MPS and BPO organization. You will ensure high‑quality support across areas such as time management, benefits administration, pensions, insurance, and garnishments.
You will coordinate day‑to‑day HR service delivery, maintain operational excellence, ensure compliance with local HR processes, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external clients. You will also support continuous improvement and contribute to aligning local processes with global SD Worx standards.
Key Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities in country‑specific HR processes.
Support the handling of process deviations, assessing their impact, and recommending solutions to local and global process owners.
Own the change‑order process with external stakeholders, including requirement gathering, pricing, implementation, documentation updates, and internal training.
Ensure clear understanding and adoption of global and local HR process standards across country teams.
Maintain and update SOPs, Work Instructions, guidelines, and other operational documentation.
Develop and deliver training materials for junior and medior team members on local and global standards.
Communicate proactively with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, ensuring consistent operational execution.
Support the design and adaptation of processes to meet both global frameworks and local requirements.
Handle complex HR operations cases and act as the first escalation point for the delivery teams.
Maintain and update HR system data related to benefits, pensions, insurance, time tracking, and garnishments.
Manage invoice reconciliations and coordinate with multiple third‑party providers.
Lead the change‑order management process for internal platforms and liaise with external vendors when applicable.
Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of HR service delivery for assigned customers.
Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years of HR or Payroll operations experience, ideally within a BPO or shared‑services environment.
Strong hands‑on experience in HR processes such as time tracking, benefits, garnishments, pensions, and insurance.
Understanding of HR compliance, regulations, and employee lifecycle processes.
Experience working with multinational clients and delivering high‑quality HR services.
Familiarity with SLAs, KPIs, and performance reporting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Fluent in English and Estonian (written and verbal).
Preferred Skills
Experience in HR, payroll, or BPO outsourcing environments.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, contact‑centre tools, HR analytics, or automation technologies.
Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits, Worksmile, Benify, or similar benefit platforms.
Professional certifications (PHR, CIPD, or similar) are a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
