About the role

As Operations Director you will be responsible for leading and developing delivery operations for the Finnish market of SD Worx. Our market in Finland consists of small, mid and large enterprise customers, including many of Finland’s most well‑known brands across the private sector. In addition we also serve international customers within the SD Worx Group. We aim for strong growth.

 Your Responsibilities

• Lead Operations organization for Finland, ensuring compliant services governance, coordination, and delivery projects

• Develop and enhance our service offering, positioning SD Worx as:

  • A development partner, not just a software and services provider

  • A change leader, implementing modern systems and efficient processes

  • A long-term partner, enabling customers to focus on their core business

• Develop target operating model and organization to meet business needs

• Drive business and process development initiatives

• Build expertise and stay close to market trends and innovations

• Implement performance measurement models and governance structures

• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and customer satisfaction

• Drive employee engagement and wellbeing, oversee recruitment, training, and continuous competence development

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Portfolio, Products, HR, Finance, Legal and International

 Key Objectives

• Lead the four pillars of SaaS and Services: implementations, consultancy, support, and managed payroll

• Achieve financial KPIs (Revenue/Contribution) across all segments

• Ensure payroll accuracy and maintain high-quality service delivery

• Deliver client projects on time and within budget

• Drive standardization and performance improvements across operations

• Support international collaboration and leverage HUB locations for efficiency

• Drive Employee Engagement & Customer experience

• Reports to: Managing Director of Finland & Estonia

• Member of the Finnish Leadership Team

• Close collaboration with Operations international community

 What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of management experience in consultancy and/or operations.

• 5+ years of experience leading other leaders

• Master’s or Bachelor degree in relevant field

• Strong background in SaaS and services industries

• Expertise in HR and payroll processes and related technologies

• Strong change leadership skills and proven ability to drive operational excellence and business development

• Experience managing large customer accounts and complex projects

• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and modelling

• Proven track record of excellent people leadership, collaboration, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in Finnish and English – both written and verbal
