About the role:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support. This role is suited for individuals with previous experience in business support functions and requires a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Accountabilities :
Oversee and manage a variety of administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and written correspondence.
Distribute information within the organization as needed and ensure timely responses.
Maintain accurate and organized data records, databases, and files.
Create, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.
Generate detailed reports and documents for internal and external use.
Identify and resolve complex administrative issues and challenges as they arise.
Skills & competencies :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Support Specialist, Office Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and business software/tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a drive for process improvement.
Professionalism and a collaborative mindset within a team environment.
