About the role:
A Customer Support Consultant is responsible for supporting the payroll customers assigned to him/her and is the interface between customers, products and application management. This role is expected to have in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance and complex payroll scenarios.

Which tasks can you expect?
Handle client inquiries through a ticketing system (no outbound calls, no hotline work)
Review, analyze and respond to client questions both verbally and in writing
Support clients in understanding how payroll processes are represented in the system
Provide guidance on system functionality and payroll logic
Recalculate payroll results when needed to verify outcomes
Prepare specific cases and scenarios for the product development team
Perform payroll simulations for testing purposes
Analyze, understand and apply legal requirements, including legislative changes
Work closely with internal teams to ensure high‑quality client support
What do you have to offer?
Very good German language skills
Good knowledge of payroll accounting for German customers
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Experienced use of common MS Office tools
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of personal customer contact
Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
Knowledge in the public sector - nice to have
