Job description
The corporate procurement team is a new, growing function within SD Worx at an international corporate level. We are really excited to be expanding our function further.
You will be based in Belgium as part of the international team. You will have a strong background in project management and specifically have knowledge and experience of Source to Pay (S2P) selection and implementations.
This is initially a temporary assignment from 2025, until July 2026
You will be responsible for assisting the rollout of the new technology plan, and therefore have close collaboration with stakeholders across these areas in order to ensure that we define and deploy the procurement process and tooling in line with procurement objectives.
You will assist the wider procurement function with realisation of our savings and value add activity to drive deeper engagement with the procurement team and show our value contribution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Key accountabilities
- You will be responsible for status monitoring and communications, ensuring the team(s) are kept informed at all levels across the business, both from communications operationally and at steerco levels.
- You will work closely with finance and procurement on the budgeting for the project, ensuring we run on time against the investment plan.
- You will highlight risks and potential setbacks, ensuring the messaging is consistent and escalated where needed
- You will have exceptional administrative skills, ensuring there is documentation in place and governance of the entire project including tracking, status, risks and objectives
- You will be responsible for stakeholder alignment, bringing together all stakeholders and persuade them to take the necessary action
- You will liaise closely and regularly with the project owner (Head of procurement) and with both finance and IT teams for necessary inputs into the project
- You will also have a close network with the Transformation team, in order to align with the expectations and framework of group reporting and governance
- You will be responsible for issue resolution, ensuring the project(s) are delivered on time, looking out for roadblocks and also finding alternatives for clarifying action required
- You will have a change leader mindset and role model in the business, focused always on continuous improvement of process, people and tools
- You will have great stakeholder management skills and provide transparent reporting is in place in order to help the business make effective decisions
- You will liaise closely with the procurement enablement team, ensuring the SOPs are aligned and data and catalogues in place
KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Master degree with emphasis on areas of Business, Economics, Finance, Procurement, Legal or comparable professional education.
- Must have experience in previous rollouts of S2P in similar size (and complexity) organisations, with tools such as Basware, Coupa, SAP, etc
- Strong knowledge of Procurement tools: spend analysis, P2P buying channels.
- Strong knowledge of Procurement (and finance) processes and tools: GLs, spend analysis, P2P buying channels.
- Experience in dealing with senior management
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Exceptional Project management experience (5-10 years)
- Demonstrable business acumen and you are able to develop a strategy and think out of the box
- Strong Relationship Management skills managing internal/external stakeholders
- Analytical, process-oriented
- Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Nice to have: any other indirect procurement experience – eg/ professional services, technology
