At SD Worx, we offer a unique opportunity with our Payroll Traineeship!

This traineeship spans 9 months and offers a comprehensive learning experience. Upon successful completion of the program, there is a possibility of being offered a permanent contract.

What you will do:

At SD Worx, you start with an introduction to our own software package (Cobra) and get to know your colleagues and the organisation. During your training, you will not only learn the ins and outs from gross salary to net salary, but you will also process wage changes and declarations. You analyze and optimize the entire HR and Payroll process and actively think along with employers. Together with your team, you work on smooth payroll processing and keep your knowledge up to date through professional consultation and following developments in collective labor agreements and laws and regulations. And yes, we also take the time to talk about that party last weekend!

What we ask of you:

• Interested in a career within HR and Payroll.
• Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week from March 1st, 2025
• Service and customer-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work together in a team.

Which tasks can you expect?

• Effectively plan and manage own workload, managing, servicing and delivering clients payrolls to agreed deadlines.
• Validating and inputting all data received to agreed deadlines.
• Checking inputted data and making all relevant corrections before the live run
• Assisting Operations Team Manager with the coaching and developing of less experienced team members.
• Manage and support the customer in the processing of their payrolls to ensure payments/reports to employees are made accurately and on time.
• Provision and delivery of their performance statistics to the OTM on a monthly basis to meet team leader reporting requirements.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with colleagues to contribute to the effectiveness of the team and to achieve the location’s success. This may include providing cover for other team members as and when necessary
• To recognise and promote opportunities for Added Value Services
• To take responsibility for own personal development plan in line with Company objectives and values.
