To support SD Worx Finland business growth, we are now looking for a professional Compliance Specialist to join our team in Espoo, Finland. As a Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with the Finnish Product and Service Team as well as with the entire SD Worx Finland team. You will report directly to the Head of International Knowledge Center within SD Worx.

What you will do:

• You will pro-actively and independently track and research all platforms to detect legal changes regarding income tax, social security and labor law in Finland.
• You will provide relevant information for internal and external communication and network with relevant external stakeholders including partners in the industry.
• You will support all stakeholders in Finnish in defining the SD Worx position for internal and external purposes and report directly to the Director Knowledge Center International at the Global Head Office in Belgium.
• You will be responsible for either yourself or through partners to host webinars and give also general legal & tax advice to our customers.
• Since you like to pass on your knowledge, you both plan and hold internal and sometimes also external training, information events and seminars.
• You will be responsible for summarizing the results of your research into easy to understand documents and communicate product and services -relevant legal changes in a structured, easy-to-understand manner or pass them on to our Product Owners and the other relevant stakeholders in SD Worx Finland.

Who you are :

• You have a master’s degree in law and at least 5 Years of experience in income tax law, social security and labor law.
• You have ideally several years of experience from payroll or law firm, or from legal counsel role within a company.
• You are passionate about the interplay between HR, Law and IT.
• You are confident, approachable, flexible and persistent
• You are a team player and get along very well with internal and external experts on different levels.
• You are proactive and service minded. You can convert legal Finnish text into easy to understand sentences quickly.
• You are business minded and commercially focused.
• You have great collaboration and communication skills
• You have fluent Finnish and English language skills.
