SME Business Development Director UKI

Your Role:
A target driven senior management role focusing on developing a new SME business line and on maximising new income from existing and new customers by identifying and closing opportunities in order to achieve an annual agreed target.  To maximise sales impact (SOV) of team performance.

 

As a PEOPLE COACH - you will have the skills and ability to demonstrate that you can:
•    Understand and have a strong affinity with the specific business reality and culture of SMEs.
•    Show clear Vision and Purpose and inspire teams and colleagues to organize themselves in an agile way in order to reach targets. The ability also to develop a new business and push (operational) decisions to the floor. 
•    Create an environment where teams and colleagues are inspired to embrace change, take ownership.  The ability also to attract and coach individuals that show disruptive thinking, in order to stimulate experimentation and innovation
•    Share leadership responsibilities in the team, based on individual’s talents. The ability also to coach each colleague in discovering and developing their talent in an environment of continuous learning.


Your Responsibilities:
•    Cobuild and execute the SME growth plan
•    To lead, develop and manage the SME new business team.
•    Grow the existing business (installed base)
•    To manage, control and co-ordinate sales related activity.
•    To successfully close new sales opportunities.
•    Demonstrate a skilled methodology and approach to SME sales management with the ability and experience to move the relationship up the ‘buy sell’ hierarchy, from supplier to a true value add business partner.
•    Identify, target and close profitable sales and achieve annual sales target.
•    To maximise sales through the presentation of effective cost benefit proposals and other techniques to promote SD Worx solutions.
•    Lead and manage the negotiation of high value long term contracts.
•    Develop a good understanding of the client organisation both in terms of structure and also strategic business aims.
•    Ensure that specified accounts are developed to their full business potential.
•    Identify further opportunities in order to develop customer service propositions and contribute to the client’s future strategy.
•    Have extensive understanding of all SD Worx offerings.

Your Profile:
Essential
1.    Experience in  business development / SME sales management
2.    Experience of successfully building and maintaining relationships.
3.    Ability to sell credible and profitable high-level solutions with a professional attitude.
4.    Ability to negotiate with senior level customer contacts.
5.    Excellent communication skills.
6.    Excellent presentation skills.
