Lead Architect Robotics (RPA)

Job Description

As a lead architect for the RPA squad, you enable the squad to perform optimally, track progress and ensure delivery is in line within expectations. You do this in close collaboration with the stakeholders of the product and the Product Owner of the RPA squad.
Your technical and business experience in these areas allow you to inspire for an optimal business result, empowering the squad engineers for their knowledge and experience.


Key accountabilities

Communicate to stakeholders about the current state of their processes, including transparent escalation about possible issues the squad or process is facing.
Proactively align with the squad on a daily basis in order to prevent delays.
Synchronize the RPA product vision with the stakeholders, without losing sight of the business results and ambitions to reach;
Responsible for successful end-to-end delivery of technical solutions.
Ensure that product requirements solve important customer/business problems;
Manage multiple stakeholders’ competing, conflicting requirements and work closely with the Product Owner to allow development of new RPA solutions in an efficient manner and balanced with the existing RPA landscape;
Align with the Agile Coach to provide and receive feedback of the RPA squad;
Hold meetings with the Squad, other Product Owners and teams to update them on product backlog and to align on the business requirements and to synchronize in the execution of complex changes;
Participate in Ceremonies, team meetings, and demo sessions to business owners.


Expectations, experiences & Knowledge:

7+ years of strong experience delivering Digital Solutions and/or a background that comprises both solid business understanding as well as high level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery;
Experience as lead developer, architect or project manager working with onshore or offshore teams
Experience in automation that covers business acumen, time management skills and a passion for learning
Adept at process assessments and understands applications of RPA in different business domains.
Strong understanding of RPA concepts and market
Process assessment experience for end-to-end process automation including RPA proof of concepts
Show a clear interest in other technologies that enable fast, flexible and financially interesting solutions (e.g. low-code platforms);
Ability to communicate effectively in multiple business areas;
Strong and creative problem solving, analysis, and design skills and always on the lookout for new ideas;
Solution oriented mindset and behaviour which you pro-actively identify and discuss with relevant stakeholders;
Comfortable to work remote and independent with an international team and group of stakeholders;


Nice to Have

Certified as technical architect (Blue Prism – ROM Architect, …)
Previous consulting experience (or equivalent)
You express yourself fluently in English with knowledge of a second language (preferably Dutch or French)
