Pre-Sales Team Director

Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, focus and direction to the Pre-Sales team and ensure the team maximizes productivity and performs to a high level of quality
• Have on a regular basis coaching and follow up conversations with direct reports to discuss and communicate on expectations
• Strategic support for the team through the End to End sales cycles (RFP and tenders processes)
• Able to discuss HR & payroll outsourcing themes strategically and tactically and to follow up HR tendencies and modernizations
• Will represent Pre-Sales team during internal SD Worx deal approval meetings for (non-) standard/ complex deals
• Accountable for and responsible to make final decision on costs reoccurring & implementation costs captured per deal
• Accountable for and responsible to final decision on both standard as well as non-standard markups captured per deal
• Work collaboratively with the Pre-Sales team, Sales Lead & Team and GS Leadership Team to ensure sales targets are met/exceeded and that the Pre-Sales team activity is maximized and appropriate to support success
• Connect on regular basis with key stakeholders within and outside International Solutions and Services team: International Sales team, Operations (specifically GPS), Portfolio, Products, Marketing, Corporate Legal, Tax & Legal, SME & LE (BE), partners and others to enhance a smooth, efficient and effective collaboration
• Owns the pricing element of the solution offering proposed/agreed upon with a client
• Educates Sales/ other departments on the solution offering together with Solution Architect Consultants
• Take part of the Value Proposition/ Solution Offering definition


Profile
• More than 10 years work experience, where-of 3-5 years minimum working in an International setting in medium or large enterprises
• Enjoyed a higher education (University degree or higher)
• Shows leadership to build a strong team
• Strong commercial, communication and leadership skills
• Show impact and ability to quickly gain confidence
• Fluent in English and ideally in either French, Dutch or German (written and oral)
• Ability to develop a vision of international Pre-Sales role for HR & payroll outsourcing services and carry this out on your team
• Knowledge regarding international HR/ payroll outsourcing services and solutions is a must
• Knowledge about competitors and market trends is a pre
• Passionate person who strives for a maximum sustainable new business
• Thinking out of the box and pragmatic in taking decisions
• Flexible and prepared to travel throughout Europe
• Good negotiations and problem-solving skills
• Effective reporting and presentation skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive team player
