What does the responsibility look like?

 

The SD Worx Product organization is organized in tribes which develop and support our products.  As the Enterprise Architect you are a member of the CoE Architecture and Security which supports the tribes.

 

As a member of the CoE team you support the Products organization to build future-oriented and scalable products, solutions and services.

 

What does your day look like?

 

  • Provide strategy advice at both strategic and tactical levels to diverse stakeholders at all levels of an ambitious growing European organization.
  • Translate the strategy into sustainable and adequate solutions that offer sufficient maneuverability.
  • Create reusable artifacts - develop and maintain architecture artifacts (models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage capabilities in projects and operations.
  • Review integration technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the CoE.
  • You advise the central and decentralized architecture teams and develop them into a performing team.
  • Make an active contribution to the changes necessary for the further professionalization and increase of the quality of the integration architecture function in IT.
  • Guide the stakeholders in making choices and facilitate decisions where and when needed.
  • Have an overview of current technology and frameworks and follow information trends to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
  • Follow market developments and IT Trends and translate them into business opportunities. This way you facilitate innovation across the organization's boundaries and you can lead an innovative process.
  • Participate in the internal API Community, Technology and Innovation & Architecture Governance Boards and other relevant team meetings.
  • Keep the architecture repository (LeanIX), criteria, principles, policies & standards up to date.
  • Build a strong partnership with all your business and IT stakeholders.

 

Profile

 

  • Strong communication and writing skills are a must. You can listen, digest and communicate clearly and to the point.
  • You adapt and simplify your messaging.
  • You are a facilitator, and the go-between in terms of integration requirements  in the development of SD Worx products.
  • You can turn strategy into solutions.
  • You have experience in agile way of working, shift left-approach and enabling strategies that are business aligned and self-service.
  • You have some affinity with Azure Cloud and other Microsoft technologies.
  • At the capability level, you explain which non-functional requirements are required and how to deploy them.
  • You speak English well. Other languages ​​are a plus.
  • You do not believe in a 'one size fits all approach'.
  • You obtained a master’s degree or hold a 5-year experience in enterprise integration architecture.

 

You are a good communicator and motivator, show initiative and leadership in your domain, can delegate authority, have knowledge of future-oriented (integration) challenges and how to respond to them in a diversified IT landscape.

 

You focus on trust, knowledge and better decision making.
