Junior SAP HCM Application Development (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE JOB: 
 

Main tasks/activities:

 

  • Support existing and new customers
  • Participation in projects to map new requirements
  • Further development, maintenance and support of existing and new HCM applications with ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects (OO)
  • Collection, analysis, conception of technical solution concepts
  • Documentation of implemented requirements, execution of functional tests and troubleshooting
  • Development and adaptation of forms based on Smart Forms or Adobe Forms
  • Development and adaptation of interfaces to SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Development, maintenance and servicing of ESS/MSS services in the SAP portal/backend
  • Active collaboration and support of the team management
  • Quality assurance and collaboration on compliance with business processes and service level agreements
  • Application development for SAP HCM in the sub-modules PA, PY, PT and OM with ABAP (ABAP 4/ ABAP OO as well as form and interface design)
  • Design, implementation, quality assurance and transfer of developments to production within SAP HCM.

WHAT YOU NEED: 

 

  • (Business) Informatics, IT, HR/HCM, HRIS or comparable education.
  • Programming skills, especially ABAP would be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the IT environment, knowledge of the SAP environment would be an advantage
  • Confident spoken and written English (B2+)
  • Good German language skills would be an advantage (B1+)
  • Limited mobility and willingness to travel
  • High level of detail and customer orientation as well as strong communication skills
  • Interest in innovation, change and new technologies

 

 

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Professional experience as an application developer or technical consultant in the area of SAP HCM.
  • Knowledge of SAP HCM interface technologies
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow
  • Application knowledge of the SAP HCM module
  • Certification as SAP HCM consultant
