This is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing HR technology and services company and be part of a flexible, dynamic, and international team. For our SAP AM (application management) team, we are looking for an SAP Technical payroll consultant to join our team in Belgium or in Spain (Malaga).


Our AM consultants are either based in Belgium or in Spain (Malaga). You will be a trusted advisor for Business and IT, providing clear technology and process direction to your functional SAP colleagues and to our clients with regards to their SAP HCM solutions. You will closely collaborate with all Adessa’s business lines to bring technical innovation.

What will be your responsibilities?


  • Your responsibilities will vary from solving minor to business critical issues of the solution already in place to implementing new functionality requested by your customer or needed after changes in laws or legislation

  • Analyze customers' requirements and agree on the scope of the solution with all stakeholders.

  • Create the business cases, prepare the integration scenarios for the implementation and have them validated by the stakeholders.

  • Implement and document the solution, complete all solution configurations and perform additional developments.

  • Create test scenario’s, test the implementation, solve issues and prepare

  • Load the application in production, execute the cutover, support post go-live and knowledge transfer to colleagues and/ customers

  • Assist clients in change management, possibly facilitate workshops and provide technical/functional trainings to users…


Profile and skills


  • 2 years of relevant SAP HCM experience, preferably in SAP payroll and/or post-payroll

  • Good knowledge in SAP HCM solutions: PA, PY, OM, TM, Enterprise Compensation Management

  • Good knowledge of configuration in SAP and SAP ABAP HR, preferably payroll and/or post-payroll

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Results oriented mindset, able to convince customers, colleagues and stakeholders of the road to take and / or solution to implement

  • Drive and Persistence

  • Pro-active towards customer needs

  • Customer oriented and flexible

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - FR/EN

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment with numerous stakeholders
